movie blurb

speed racer

not sure how i feel about this project. i am a fan of the wachowski brothers but speed racer? after careful viewing of the trailers, im not sure what to expect. usually i have a knack in knowing whether or not movies will suck by simply watching the trailer. but im seriously not sure. i have never really seen an episode of speed racer but i know the jist of the story. i do however feel it will be sourly predictable with the typical kung fu story tale that the wachowski brothers love to give their movies. however, ever since the matrix trilogy, they haven't been able to pull something original. it honestly just looks like thet fast and the furious: tokyo drift on ecstasy. all i know is, im looking forward to the bootleg.

the love guru

not since austin powers has mike meyers shown himself on the big screen and once again, he manages to pull off an original character. but im not sure im too excited about this one. the story seems pretty weak, mike meyers appears to be pulling the same corny jokes he had in austin powers, oh and also "mini-me" is playing a real person in this one. (sorry no cracks on little people i have standards) what i did enjoy from this trailer however was justin timberlake's role. i must admit i did not think he was much of an actor when i saw him in alpha dog, but i do like his spunk. there might be more talent in that boy than meets the eye. also jessica alba stars and she is HOOOOTTT. yes i am secretly obsessed with her beautiful... eyes. i can say that i am looking forward to mike meyers' return to the big screen. i loved waynes world and i loved austin powers. big ups to meyers!

wanted

nothing is more inspriring than to know that there are people out there who are willing to throw money away on shit movies. it motivates me everyday with the comfort in knowing that there is money out there to sponsor one of our awesomely huge productions. ::sigh:: but dammnit why do people allow such shitty productions to happen. i love a good action flick as much as the next guy but... really?! the whole "bullet time" thing has been overdone with every summer movie since 97. LET IT GO. i think it's time those people in the graphics department realized its not so cool anymore. unfortunately, there are people willing to pay to see this shit. so they dont get the hint. except of course when oscar time comes around. as for angelina jolie? i wont even go there. cuz i honestly dont think shes that hot. yeah i know what the guys are thinking.. hey you must be gay. fuck that. angelina can take those chappy lips back on safari while she pretendes to care for third world countries by gentrifying children. in short... WANTED will suck.

new evidence on tupac murder

after several years, new evidence has appeared revolving around the biggie and tupac shootings.

until this day, the notorious big, christopher wallace remains the undefeated king of hip hop. after so many years, there have only been a handful of rappers to ever come near to his level.

tupac, the poetic street prophet, has never left our side. dropping new albums flawlessly every year, it makes some of us wonder if tupac is actually dead. to this day it saddens me to know that biggie will never drop another single again. it is tragic how we always lose the good ones.

i have always has this weird theory that puffy was somehow responsible for biggies death. my reasoning? quite simple. through proof of all these years, dead rappers make more money. this has definitely worked out for puffy considering biggie has been remastered on new beats several times. also, puffy was able to cash in on biggies death by dropping single after single after compilation of biggie tributes.

until today, puffy is unable to properly give any of his clients the proper promotion. they are always pushed back for the releases of his new albums or we simply never hear from them because puffy is to busy "making the band".

anyway, enough about my conspiracies. here is the link to the article.

of course i cant end this blog without a sweet biggie vid. RIP poppa. we'll always love and miss you.

MORE FIFTY CENT

thats right. 50 cent will probably make history tonight by outdoing fat joe in album sales. it isn't much of a challenge, but it is interesting when his new mixtape is only available at thisis50.com. but i love the fact that fifty is reminding us just how powerful of a tool the internet is. perhaps he did not plan it purposely, who knows, but it works out. its absolutely free.

i got on the site as soon as it hit midnight and found the page crashing. the apparent fan base will become a more visible number since you have to create a membership in order to download the album. fortunately i found a link under a different page and here it is for all you music loving fat joe haters out there.

hip-hop... what now?

so dre is my main dude for hip hop news. this the main dude to speak rap, gossip, and jive to about anything going on in hip hop today.

today he leaves me an important news update about a possible alliance in the music industry. just so you know, this is just speculation as there are no definitive news confirmations. according to online sources, jayz and 50 cent are currently working on a possible merger. not only will jay-z join the g-unit crew, but he will take over as g-unit president. that's right.

50 has claimed this as a possibility in order to allow him to focus more on his music production. who knows what will come of this. 50 hasn't exactly been producing good quality music (with the exceptions of his mixtapes which still present themselves to be entertaining). however, curtis was not his best work.

50 simply isn't hungry anymore, he has no real spark left in him to make great music. sad, true, but it is how it works sometimes. hopefully this let inspire 50 to do better. as for the industry, there's no telling what might happen, i just hope it benefits the game itself.

agua out.
